Once I was traveling and I decide to go snorkeling in the sea so I took a boat with native person and he left near to a choral. He told me that I can snorkeling there but he didn't say the precautions so I jump from the boat into the sea when I started to sknorkeling there were a lot of sea urchin and I was barefoot. Fortunately I didn't step on them.
If I had asked before jump maybe I wouldn't have taken that risk.

- Use wet shoes when you go to snorkeling
- Try to wear your own mask and snorkel
- Be sure about the place where you are going to snorkeling
- Don't jump on the choral
